Sounds amazing! Thanks for sharing the recipe. We will definitely need lots of ways to fix lamb and goat! Let me know if you come up with something for rabbit, as well. We’re planning to raise some New Zealand crosses. The Kiko goat is also bred from feral NZ stock. Our closing is in 2 weeks! Look for your package in the next couple of days.

Sounds like you are having fun. By the time you get back Cathy and I will need your wwoof’ing help as we are actively looking at mini farms between 5 and 30 acres. There some incredible steals available, some with more than one house, outbuildings, barns, electric fences, and all the other accessories. //Jon

So good to hear an update! Sounds like you’ve had quite the adventures. Give Rowdy a scratch behind the ears from us. I ate some NZ green-lipped mussels in your honor Friday, marinated with lime in cerviche style, and thought of both of you. Would like to hear more about the electrocuting cows. A couple weeks ago, Jon was cuddling a calf named Pollyanna over an electric fence and gave her a bit of a shock. Is everyone grass fed on the farm? Do you feed hay or grains or lead them to fresh pasture with Rowdy? Looking forward to Flickr posts. Jon and I will be taking some farming classes this year as opportunities arise.

Awesome! I love NZ green lipped mussels. We have a new sushi house that serves them steamed with wasabi mayo. I can’t imagine catching them myself. Can’t wait to see the photos! What have you learned about gardening so far? It was great to hear your voice. Love the idea of farm animals on the beach getting those great minerals.
